夏日裡暈眩的小鴨
The Dizzy Duck in Summer
一隻白絨絨的小鴨
游來游去
遇見兩隻烏龜嘰嘰喳喳地聊著
小鴨：「你們在聊什麼呢？」
烏龜們：（完全無視）
小鴨只好繼續游啊游
忽然看見一顆被人丟棄的棒球
小鴨嘆氣：「哎呀，可惜了。要是我有手套，一定可以接住的吧。」
一陣強風吹起，吹呀吹呀
世界慢慢靜了下來，時間，呼吸止住，一種喘不過氣的寂靜。
小鴨：「咦，我變成人類了嗎？」
踏入林間
抬頭望著樹蔭間灑落的光影，微微穿梭
小鴨感嘆：「原來這就是人類的視角啊。」
還不習慣這副身份
小鴨一陣頭暈
不確定自己究竟是小鴨，還是人類
只傻傻低語：
「我……這是在天堂嗎？」
有一絲淡淡的黃光
嗯？這麼熟悉
似乎有個弱小的黑色身影，是……？
突然被人搖醒
「同學，你還好嗎？」
啊……我還是人類啊
嘴巴想說什麼，卻只微微點了點頭
小鴨望向遠方
那是夥伴們，還是鵝兄們？
頭有點發熱，眼皮愈來愈沉重
天氣悶得……
當人類，真的有點緊張啊

夏日裡暈眩的小鴨
A fluffy little duck
swimming back and forth
meets two turtles chattering noisily
Duck: "What are you two talking about?"
Turtles: (completely ignoring)
The duck keeps on swimming
and suddenly sees a discarded baseball
Duck sighs: "Ah, what a pity. If only I had a glove, I could have caught it."
A gust of strong wind rises, blows and blows
the world slowly grows still, time and breath held, a suffocating silence.
Duck: "Huh? Have I turned into a human?"
It steps into the woods
looks up at the light falling through the leaves, softly flickering
Duck murmurs: "So this is what it looks like from a human's point of view."
Still not used to this body
the duck feels dizzy
unsure whether it is a duck, or a human
It whispers blankly:
"Am I… in heaven?"
A faint yellow glow
Hmm? So familiar
There seems to be a small dark figure, was it…?
Suddenly someone shakes it awake
"Hey, are you okay?"
Ah… I'm still human
the mouth wants to speak, but only nods slightly
The duck looks into the distance
are those its companions, or the geese brothers?
Its head feels warm, its eyelids grow heavier and heavier
the air is stifling…
Being human really does feel a bit nerve-wracking
